Skill – all levels, but most of it is built for Advanced riders

Harold Town Conservation Area, just east of Peterborough is a new ride spot just opened to offer some of the best riding in Ontario.

Trails are built on a large mound that stands out in the countryside.

With the efforts of the locals, they have built some very well designed IMBA type, sweet MTB track that will please everyone.

Never too crowded (it’s a secret still) you will enjoy and be challenged to some great MTB riding in a rather compressed space.

Though not having endless kilometres at only 10 km of single track, every trail has been thought out and will leave you smil’n. Ya it’s worth the drive from TO!

For the beginner, the loops are at the base of the hill and as you would expect rather flat and tame except every so often there is a small ramp or rock as an alternate choice to play with and hone your skills.

As you take the switchbacks to the top of the mount you will have a few choices in moderate to experts trail…
