Lindsay Tract is a short ride with some fun MTB packed in. This Bruce Peninsula ride is rocky like most of the area. If you are on your way to Tobermory drop by for a spin and put a smile on your face.

You will find ten tight short loops of various difficulty peppered with limestone rock gardens.

These 10 km of loops are trails cut for the MTB crowd, not old straight hiking paths. Ride it both ways to double up on the ride.

Well, I would not drive hours to ride this loop but it’s worth a spin to stretch your legs on that long drive along Hwy 6. The terrain drains well but watch for those slippery rocks.

Fall colours would gorgeous if you ride in the fall, and no bugs, bonus!

There are also two quiet country roads to explore for several kms – Thunder and Boundary Rd.

Black bears and Mississauga rattlesnakes live in this area so use caution. A bear bell or talking is a good idea. Neither likes being surprised. Umm, I guess you will be too.

Yes, this could be a short ride but a welcomed stretch for your legs on your car trip.

This spot has little close by, it sits in the middle of “nowhere” on a long straight section of road and trees.

Be self reliant and pack what you need, ride with a buddy. You may see a hiker then again the place could be all yours. Enjoy!
